How much should i expect to pay for a suriname red tail at a reptile show? I plan on goin the texas reptile show in San Antonio, TX on December 14-15 and i live in Louisiana so i want to plan on bringing plenty enough because i know i will find a few bbies to bring home but i for sure want to find a Suri. I just think they are beautiful.

You can look to pay anywhere between 200 bucks all the way up to a grand. Possibly cheaper cuz you're at a show but I shopeed for them for a while b4 buying one and those were the prices that I saw. I began to get frustrated with the prices and then someone mentioned to me "Is it worth it to you?" When you're buying the snake, instead of asking "Is the snake worth XDollars?", ask yourself is what you see worth what they are charging to you. I adopted that mindset and I had my BCC shortly thereafter.

175-1000+ , generally speaking the best of the best captive born and bred animals will never make it to the shows. But you can get lucky and get a top notch animal for way below the market costs...if you want to be sure it is a healthy captive born baby contact a breeder.

While we're on the topic, what on-line breeders (even better if from rtb.net) sell Surinams?
I'm interested in a Female Suri, within the next few months anyway, and would like to look around for a while.
Thanks!
