Now That i have your attention, how do these points things work...what do they do and is there any real reason for them....im sooooooo confused, i see some people have millions of points...

oh oh oh, i almost forgot, and how does the rep thing work.....btw i some how have 2 rep points????? i must be special....

can someone please enlighten me on this topic...a link to a page already answeing this maybe!!

*deep breath* OK....I will try to explain.

-If someone posts something that you find helpful or agree with, use the Thanks button (bottom right of post next to Quote).
-If someone posts something TOTALLY enlightening or just downright WRONG (majorly wrong...not just incorrect or that you disagree with), use the Rep (top right corner of post).

I believe you get one Rep point per 12 posts or something, and if someone THANKS a post of YOURS you get one rep point. If I were to give you a postive rep boost then yours would JUMP because of the difference. In contrast, if tbowman gave you a rep boost it wouldn't make nearly as much difference. Use the reputation button sparingly, use it only for VERY deserving posts.

I hope that made some sense; it's confusing and I am still figuring it out but that is the limit of my understanding.

Bank and points is kind of like money. You can use it to tweak your profile etc. Go here to explore that: http://redtailboa.net/forums/vbplaza.php Points are RTB currency, bank is where you keep them (they can be stolen, but not from bank, where they also gain interest every few days).

you get 100,000 points when you buy a premium mebership.($20/year) you can tell when someone is a premium member when it has the RTB Support logo below their name.

Yea iv'e only been hear a few days, and completly respect and understand the work involved in a firum such as this.....and i look at it....the amount of money we spend on a daily basis...20 bucks for the year is nothing....i just hope others also follow along and help out!
