I dont fully understand how this works
ok so I'm not totally sure of the whole 1.0, 0.1, 0.0.1 thing, in reference to sex I belive of said snake. As far as I can figure it, the first number, before any decimile, is for males. the place second, after the decimile, is for female, but then I've seen another decimile and a third number. My guess is that it means unknown sex, but thats just an educated guess. Am I totally wrong about all this.
so as I can figure i belive it works like this:
A female boa would be 0.1
A male would be 1.0
A male and female pairing would be 1.1
an unknown gender would be 0.0.1
and if you have a lot of one type, or if you are a breeder and have a clutch, you could say you had 5.7 (5 males & 7 females) of that clutch available.
am I way off or what?

Re: I dont fully understand how this works
well, i cant think of them all right off the top of my head. one that will prob take a while is the morphs. I understand some of it, like what het means, and anery, leucistic, albino, ect. but one thing i see will be DH. not sure what that is. and are "phases" acuall phases of the snakes growth/coloation development, or is it THE color of the snake. small things like this...
I will post up as I think of others.
Thanks guys,

Re: I dont fully understand how this works
DH = Double Heterozygous
A DH sunglow would be a Hypomelanistic boa het for albino and sunglow if bred with a het albino or albino boa. DH sunglows not only produce albinos and sunglows in the same litter, but normals and more hypos DH for sunglow.
And the term Morph is for the color variations and the genes that create those color variations.
