Did you get her from a private breeder or pet store, Kobi? And if it was a breeder, who was it?

Re: Most Docile?
The guy that works at our local pet co breeds them...kinda sucks for petco, but good for me. His name was Jake....dunno much else though. He helped me buy all the supplies from petco but I got Kobi from him.
Edit: Our petco doesn't carry captive bred, and that was what I was wanting. He mentioned that he breeds them so we got all my supplies, I went home and set everything up, and then picked her up the next day.

Re: Most Docile?
My bad! I thought Kobi was your name. I didn't realize it was one of your pets!

Re: Most Docile?
The only snake I've ever had strike at my face was a ball python! I'd say in general though, balls and corns are for the most part the most docile. Now in my collection, I would have to say hands down, that my Sorong type green tree python is the most docile. I can take her out and she'll just lay her head on your arm and you can scratch her neck. She'd lay there for hours if you let her.

Re: Most Docile?
Now that so many folks have chimed in about species, which seems to be the more docile between male and female when it comes to snakes? Anyone noticed differences in temperament between sexes?

Re: Most Docile?
Hmm, you got me! All of the reptiles I have ever had have been female. My beardie used to get kinda mean when she layed eggs (un-fertilized) but that was it. After a few days she was fine. Dunno about snakes though. So far so good with Kobi.

Re: Most Docile?
I never really thought about it much but now that you bring it up all of the snakes in my collection who ever lash out defensively are males. I have not had any of my females strike at me.
LOL, I guess males are just more insecure.
