Re: Problems buying from Tim Osborne????
I would prefer if it post stays as Tim is a friend of mine and I don't want anyone to think that this is an abuse of my power as an admin.
It appears that Tim made some big mistakes and he will be paying for them. While this is not the BOI and I don't propose that it should be, I am leaving this one well alone.

Re: Problems buying from Tim Osborne????
Snakebit,
It looks like Tim made some serious mistakes (which we all do), but from what I can tell...the problems have now been corrected and/or are in the process of being corrected.
I am sorry to hear about what happened, but I am glad that you all have finally resolved it all (peacefully).

Re: Problems buying from Tim Osborne????
If you have a problem with a seller, especially when said seller is very active in a local forum (this one for instance), take it up with him. DON'T go writing trash about him before speaking to him personally.

Re: Problems buying from Tim Osborne????
I am not talking trash. The "mistakes" made by Tim Osborne are not mistakes "everyone" makes. If you are capable of reading go all the way through the link. Anyone who is owed money or animals by Tim Osborne should contact the Louisville KY FRAUD division's Detective Thomas as he is actively investigating the case. 502-574-7046.
Well over 200 phone calls occurred between Tim and myself over a 4 month time frame trying to either get the animals he sold to me (breeding groups of over 50 species of frogs and over a thousand froglets that he alleged to have bred) or my $4000 refunded. There are 3 others on the frog talk forum seeking restitution. The dollars amount to over $5000 so far. It took police involvement to force a resolution, which is in the process of happening. However, a 5th person from dendroboard just came forward. If any others have issues they should come forward while the fraud investigation is still active.
I did not want to go through the details again on this forum, but to post a warning. Peoples uniformed blind defense of inexcusable activities is forcing me to say more than I wanted to.

Whoa. Slow your role dude, I don't appreciate your tone. I don't care about your issues. You are the new guy here, not me, not Tim. Don't think you can come on here and slander an existing member and expect everyone to get on your bandwagon. Who do you think you are? I'm sorry that you had a bad transaction ON ANOTHER FORUM, how is that MY problem? Cool your heels off and talk to him first, maybe YOU should do some research.

Re: Problems buying from Tim Osborne????
Slander consists of spoken falsehoods about a person. The truth is Tim was given until 9/10/07 to make restitution or criminal proceedings would go forward. People from 2 forums so far were affected by his actions. This is to notify members of this forum who may have a problem.
FYI one of the victims is a Marine that recently returned from Iraq.

Ok....don't think anyone here has had a problem with him, therefore no big deal. I don't care about the other two forums.
FYI what's your point about the Marine? Who are you to call him a "victim" like he died or something? You seriously need to back off and watch your mouth.

OK who else thinks this thread should be not only locked, but deleted? The thread linked in the first post here is closed for good reason.

Re: Problems buying from Tim Osborne????
I personally do not think this forum is the right place for this discussion....I do not see this going anywhere but down hill. I will lock this...
(and I do not know anyone from this forum.....)
