yay!!! he ate!!
Finally after 10 long months, my Saharan Sand Boa ate a live mouse...we tried everything to try to get him to eat, he never lost weight and even shed (about a week ago, the last time)...I talked to a specialist and he said that sometimes the males will just do that and as long as he wasn't loosing any weight and still as active as he was, not to worry...
I AM SO HAPPY!!!
oh, lol, and my husband and i were feeding all of our snakes today and one of the lil balls nabbed my finger, thought I was a mouse (even after it ate)...my tarantula molted, very weird and my leopard geckos and crested geckos all ate some mealworms out of my hand...that was fun...here are some pics of the sand boa, burnet and the molt...thanks

Re: yay!!! he ate!!
Sounds like a great day in you little zoo-dom, leoares. Congrats! I know how frustrating it is when they won't eat.
