So i just fed my RTB her first ever F/T mouse. After playin with it for like 10 minutes, i put it in front of her nose first, and she ate it immediatedly. I was so happy.

........congrats. rtbs are usually not too picky when it comes to food. just a suggestion pinky rats are generally better than mice as far as nutrition goes. good luck

that's kinda sick isn't it??? I just dangle them in front of my snakes, I don't play with it myself before I try to feed it to them. I mean, I have thought about tieing strings on the feet and making them dance around first and putting them in an RC car and drive it around the block, like they were driving, but then I figured that I would just feed them to the snakes.
 congrats!

Re: F/T Mouse
Aww but dead mice are so fun to playwith. When mine are still frozen, I set things up on my desk, turn my webcam on, and cause godzilla scenes... Don't tell me you don't think the poses those rats get frozen into doesn't so often look like godzilla.
My webcam non-snake owners think I've totally gone off the deep end. It's hilarious.

Re: F/T Mouse
My TX rat has also started taking f/t and the first few times I had to provoke a strike before she fed but no I just drop them in and she take 5 mins and down goes two fluffies. A piece of tail broke of with the last feed, did that confuse her she keeps on circeling looking for the right end to start swollowing a piec of tail and then just left it laying there. Before I get stoned yes I removed the tail and disgarded it in apropriat fashion. I left it on the bird feeder out side and a bird ate it. Waste not want not.
