New Addition Drama

So! This week, while being incredibly hectic, has proved quite fruitful.

I've gotten(so far) 2 gopher snakes, an adult female normal Ball python(poss. het albino or pastel, he wasn't sure[second hand snake]), and a 100% het anery male boa.

I went out and cleaned my buddy's place in trade for the little male boa and a smallish vision cage. On the drive home, he and I were talking about our current snakes, and he passed me an offer I could NOT refuse.

He wants to downsize how many ball pythons he has. He only wants 2, because he's attached emotionally to two, but he really loves boas much much more.

So, this leaves him with 0.1 normal, 1.0 poss. het clown, and 1.1 het piebalds. What to do what to do?

He says he'd like me to take the het clown and the normal off his hands. He just wants them gone gone gone. I nodded, said I didn't really have the space to take them. Nor did I want to pay for 1.1 normal(The het clown is a distant POSSIBLE het.) ball pythons, when I had 1.1 at home.

So you know what he says?

"If I can find you two four footer visions, and give you the 1.1 het pieds, would you take the 1.1 normals?"

Hm. Now let's see. I pay you what now? Nothing... so... what's the catch?

Pick of the litter from the 1.1 normals, and the second pied produced from the hets.

So, naturally, I said GOD YES!!!

Now. Toclean and rearrange my room, and figure out where the heck to put two new 4' visions in my already too-crowded room... And to somehow manage to explain to my dad why I have8 new snakes. Holy cow, 8??? *recounts, dies* x.x

Now, let's hope this luck lasts through the weekend. *Bought a powerball ticket*

Well, there's no such thing as a het for pastel, so it's probably a poss. het albino.. XD Pastel is a visual morph, so it's either a pastel, or it isn't.. for ball pythons, anyway..

	Morph A morph is a color or pattern variation that is proven to be genetic. Common morphs include albino, anerythristic, gentically striped, Hypomelanistic, and many others. Morphs also include combinations of simple traits such as "Sunglow" which is Albino and Hypomelanistic. These traits may be recessive traits, co-dominant traits, dominant traits, or created through selective breeding (ie Pastel).

That's pretty much my exact situation right now... lol except I'm asking $$ for the exact price I paid for my ball pythons when I bought them a few years ago.
