ok so why does everything bad happen to MY family?

SOOOO on thursday my dad started complaining about his stomach hurting so he took some pepto (thought it was ust a sower stomach) well the pain got progressavly worse and worse so yesterday when he couldn't even touch his stomach because of the pain i told him too get in the car and that we're going too the ER. It turned out that he had appendisitus (SP?). So they operated on him yesterday afternoon, and when the doc came out too tell us how it went he told me and my sister that it was the wost ruptured appendix that he has ever seen and that it ruptured near the colon (said it looked like a granade went off in him) and if we had waited another day too bring him in he probably wouldn't have made it. Anywho, b/c it ruptured so close too his colon, there is a slight chance of his colon leaking in which case they would have too go back in and take out a piece of his colon and sew it up. As of now he's fine but in a good deal of pain - he can walk and move but it takes alot of energy for him too do. But yeah - i spent the night at the hospital with him last night and my sister is staying tonight b/c they only allow one person too stay the night at a time. i'll keep y'all updated as often as i can

Sorry to hear hope everything works out ok.

My dad went in the hospital saturday night they have to operate on his leg and he might have some kind of blood infection.

good quote - i just hope he gets better - my dad has always been a stronghold in my life - when ever anything was wrong he was the only person that would never change and seeing him in a hospital bed hooked u too machines just took a toll on me. IDK i guess it just finally hit me that one day i'll have too see my dad die - i don't even know what i would do without him. Not an easy thing too realise and see, but hopefully he'll be 100% in a few ddays
