I'm SICK, I have the freakin flu. I'm supposed to go to a wedding tomorrow in an elegant dress... but how can I when I'm throwing up all the time and ...other gross things? I *Hate* the flu. And Now I'm home alone... and watching Batman Returns... I wish I had an army of Rocket Penguins.

I also had horrible dreams of bad things happening to my reptiles. Like my smallest BP swallowing a child's toy, my oldest BP coiled but upside down and my gecko's food eating him alive...

Yeah I agree with Johnny. That stuff taste terrible but works. I got the flu for the first time about 6 years ago and that stuff made things much better.

I know how you feel. I get sick a lot, especially with the flu.

I actually had a horrible dreamthe other night that I was frustrated and angry and crushed all my corn snake eggs in my hands. o___o

It didn't appen and they hatched ust fine, so I'm sure your babies will be fine too. They're ust dreams, and it's amazing what your brain can do to mess with you.

I reccomend putitng on the Rocky Horror Picture Show, eating some rice(ust plain cooked rice, no toppings) drinking some ginger ale, nibbling on crystalized ginger, and downing some Thera-Flu. With that combination, you'll feel better in NO time at all.

Always works for me.

Hope you feel better soon sug. Rest rest rest and PLENTY of fluids. Never be without a cup of ice cold water. And ginger ale.

(Ginger is crazy stuff, you'll either puke and actually feel better, or you'll miraculously recover. Crystalized ginger 100%. Great Stuff, truly.)

Ginger is also a natural expectorant. Great when you have a cold! I usually use fresh sliced and peeled ginger root steeped in hot water then add honey to sweeten.

I am -just- that good.

Do watch it, it always helps me feel better. Something about Tim Curry cross-dressing and those wild angry-eyes he gets. *shrug* but I'm weird like that.

As for the Ginger - I'm going to have to eat more of that stuff. lol

The crystalized ginger always makes or breaks my flu symptoms. Makes me puke and feel better, or makes me completely better miraculously.

it helps settle tummies if you have had too much to drink too. there is a WONDERFUL drink that the nugget market sells... the ingredients are: spring water, ginger juice, lemon, honey

i drink a full bottle of that, and i feel sooo much better when im sick, or hungover.

another thing that works pretty good if you can stand the taste of it (and your family can tolerate how you will smell).... garlic. fresh garlic is WONDEFUL to eat when your sick.

If you have any sinus symptoms like a runny nose or the such sudafed is my god and savior im not kidding that stuff works wonders and i dont even CARE whats in it..just a thought. Otherwise lots of vitaman C and some chicken noodle soup as well as the aforementioned items and you'll be brand new=)
