My trip to the ER :(
All in all my weekend was kind of rough. Friday afternoon at about 630 I woke from a nice little nap and started to feel kind of rough, figured the itching was from a few bugs in the couch. Ate dinner at about 7. Itching got worse. I decided to go take a long hot shower to try and fix the bug bites. Taking off my clothes I discovered that I was covered from the neck down in what appeared to be hives. Talk about being freaked out. I took the long hot shower and naturally this only made things worse. One of my friends came over and between him and my now freaked out mom I decided that I should hit the ER. this is now 11:15pm. My buddy drove me to the Veterans Hospital (cuz I'm a vet ya see) and checked in there. They hooked me into the IV and stuck me with Prednisone and something similar to Benadryl. Expected. I passed out for like 3 hrs in and out and then they released me. My friend slept in his truck the entire time. Total time at hospital on a Friday night: 5hrs. So now I got prescribed Prednisone and some Benadryl substitute for the next two weeks. STILL have no idea what caused it either. No adult beverages for me for a while either.

I don't think so, but then again I don't know. It was gone the next day so if that still suggests shingles...Really I have no clue.
