She shed 'in' her hide..... She is beautiful! I took the hide off her to look. I took the shed out and soaked it in warm water, and then unfolded it stretched it out weigthwise & lenghtwise to : 4.25 feet. Now is that a true mesurement? Or is the .25 because she was not in it anymore...? I will try to hold her on Wed. when my hubby is home. I'm really happy! "One piece shed", means she is in good humidity & heat...?!?!?!? Excellent! Yes, a one piece shed means you are doing a great job. I knew you would [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] As far as an accurate measurement, the results are usually off when you measure the skin, but I would be curious to compare the measurement after you measure her.

I must of missed an earlier post about taboo....but good job on the one piece shed. For the measurement being accurate.....no.
When you unfold the skin you stretch it out more than you think. The shed will be longer than the snake probably more than the .25ft too which is what 3"? Just thought I'd let ya know. so now that i missed it what happened? what kind of snake is it? AND WHERE'S THE PICS? GONNA HOG ALL THE BEAUTY FOR YOURSELF HUH??
