Last night we were shut down by openprojects.net admin. because our channel doens't match the format of what that net is about....free software. We were allowed to resume for 24 hours or so till we could talk to lilo but he has yet to respond to msgs or email. But that is ok. We have already setup the channel on another server. If the channel is gone and you can't get in, just type /server irc.sorcery.net and join us there. This may not be so easy for the people who use the java client bookmarked on the side bar of the webpage. I have an email into natas about possibly changing the default server so it will guide you there instead of openprojects.net....but I highly recomend downloading mirc (windows), *#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&x (Linux) I dunno what the best mac chat client is these days....still ircl? anyway...what ever ya end up using...just fill out the info with nick and stuff and then do not click log onto server...click ok and type /server irc.sorcery.net and after a buncha goobldygop scrolls by, type /join #redtailboa.
Whether or not openprojects allows us to stay at this time we will likely move anyway because if they get all militant now....who's to say down the road they won't do it again and there are other choices out there that aren't so specialized

Yah we will have to put it in the news but prolly should wait till it is definate that we have moved...and someone needs to flag down natas and get the java client changed over. I sent him an email giving him a heads up...but still havent heard from the good peolpe of openprojects.

OH GREAT!! Us pc illits have to go and figure out setting our program to go into another room now? lol This should be fun and time consuming also.. Unless someone's coming over and setting mine up for me hehe
I'll grab Shane on the phone later. You'll never get a responce in email from him none to soon lol. I spoke with him the other day and he's been really busy at work [ still] and also looking into moving [ residential] atm as well. He says things should settle down in about two weeks and he'll be ol more so then.

I don't think there is a way to change servers on the web page java client. SO if you come to chat via the java client...you will need to either be patient till we can get the default server changed over or download mirc and learn to use it.

Natas can'
t do anything about your errors on the MIRC program, that has nothing to do with the RTB site at all. If it is the java link that your using to access the site. Then just be patient and the linking will get changed. That natas can change and as soon as he is reached it'll be done for those of you using the java to get into the room. Like Juls said they, why not dl the MIRC and use that way in even.
Might be a couple weeks until natas changes the coding for the page that has the java linking to the chatroom on it possibly. He has been really busy with work and is also looking into moving atm as well. When I spoke with him the other day he said he most likely won't be around the site until things slow down a bit and said about 2 weeks at that even. If we can reach him prior to that, we shall ask him to fix this chatroom page also sooner then.

Sorry Lori, I didn't mean for Natas to fix my comp, just saying that I wouldn't be able to access chat until the applet is changed. Will wait and hammer around with mIRC in the meantime, with what I can do. Thank-you so much for trying to get him, and working so hard with all the rest of the admin and Natas to run RTB.
