Bronx Zoo???

Hey for those of you that live in NY, is the Bronx Zoo worth going to? I'll be in Brooklyn in June and thought about visiting the zoo that week. What is their reptile exibit like? If ya have any pics that would be even better!!! Muchas Gracias!

The Bronx Zoo is definately worth checking out. I live in NY and go frequently. It is not quite as nice as say the San Diego Zoo but it is better than most. One warning though, if you go on Wednesday it will be extremely crowded. On Wednesdays everybody gets in free. Paying isn't so bad at the zoo though since the money goes to the Wildlife Conservation Society.

I went to the Bronx zoo when I was in grade school, which was a while ago but I remember thinking it was really cool. In fact I'm thinking about going back in the near future. I say go for it.

I live in the BRONX and have not made it there in about 10 years... I swear I am going to try and go Karen, I have not forgotten. It's just that school has been rediculus lately. Fauna, are you going to the White Plains show? I'll be there for sure.

if you are hear and visiting definitly check it out. the reptile house is really cool.
they usually have a herpetologist or two running in and out, they are all great. they'll answere all of your questions.

you'll see burm with the girth of a garbage can there [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img] [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img] [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] that thing is soooo fat!

the whole zoo is awesome, definitly check out the congo if its open!
