I am lookn for a redtail. I was in my pet store the other day and say one. Now I have only herd people talk about BCI & BCC, but the cage had a lable that said BBC. Does anyone know what BBC means? Do they look like BCC's or BIC's or was it just a typo on the pet stores part.?

There are others such as BCOand a few others I can't even recall at the moment, but with spelling and attention spans these days I am betting on a typo from an employee.

I try to learn as much as i can mainly because i am intrested, but if i am going to own a certian snake I would like to know as much as i can for the well being of the snake.

Hmm, I think BBC is the British Broadcasting Company!
But here's a large amount of info on a lot of what you may want or it could just cause sensory overload, but look HERE.

Well, Lori explained to me the differences of several subspecies of Boa constrictor, so I'm betting she'll know. I really doubt there is such thing as a "BBC". Sounds like a typo.

I, too, say typo! Another pet store around here had a Soloman Island Ground boa labeled as a Soloman Island BROWN boa...LMAO!! She didn't write the name down right away and did it from memory. That is most likely what happened at 'your' pet store.
Plus, think about it: All <boa constrictors> names will begin with b.c., NOT b.b. Unless it wasn't a boa constrictor, but something else....
