Mother Tiger
In a California zoo, a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to pregnancy complications, the cubs were born prematurely and died shortly after birth.

After checking with many other zoos, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the tiger mother. The vets decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. Re: Mother Tiger
That is sooo cute! LOL I read the first sentence about a rare tiger cub and looked at the picture and I was like wow that is rare to have a half pig half tiger. Then i read the rest of it and felt stupid. LOL.

Re: Mother Tiger
It's cute, but I think this post would be better off in the Urban Legends and Tall Tales section.

Re: Mother Tiger
I liked the Mother Tiger story better!!
The Zoo is kinda weird..according to the Snopes site, the piglets were placed in the tiger enclosure to be raised and the tigers were placed in the pig enclosure to be raised...Weird!
