Some people is just very silly when it comes to their so called pets or animals.
Was on a tarantula site where the guy wanted to feed his T a full grown mouse (not F/T, but alive) just to see the abilities the T is suppose to have in killing its prey. In the wild the T would flee if it is threatened but in an enclosure it cant...
Just show you the mentality of people out there...

Thats just terrible.
I know big snakes eat what they gotta eat, and I'm not afraid to feed big snakes cute fuzzy animals, but doing it live? Watching a life fly by on film is just kinda morbid...

I think it all has to do with whether or not the persons really care about their animals, or it is just a matter of boosting their esteem with their ignorant and impressed audiences. It is immature and childish to get a kick out of seeing your snake hunt and kill its prey, prey that can seriously hurt or kill the predator, when the prey becomes the predator instead!
That's one of the reasons I love this site - the education value is high.

i saw that and left him a little note...i hate people liek that, slack jawed inbred hillbillies without enuff sense to go buy a frozen rat, whats easier? defrosting a rat, or setting a trap catching a squirrel taking the squirrel outta the cage, putting it in with the burm and monitoring the whole thing
