New snake...
The Corn Snake I was supposed to get died... before i ever got it. I was absolutly crushed, my dad felt terrible, so he made me feel alittle better by moving the date for my new BRB from 2 months from now, to this weekend. Which is excitting, but I'm still really depressed about my corn.. i was really looking forward to keeping her.
She was dehyrated, the owners friend forgot to come over and fill the water while she was away on vaca...
Yeah, I just needed to tell someone.

Oh im so sorry to hear about that. People dont think about the responsibility of owning snakes. And stuff like this happens....Well on a better not at least your getting your BRB sooner.

Well at least it died BEFORE you got it and NOT while it was in your care. Could you imagine how much worse it could have been if it made it to you on its last leg and didn't make it. The situation does suck but at least that much can be taken from it.

I'm sorry to hear about this and your loss, but more than likely she was sick unless she was left for quite a while without water.
I don't know how long it would take but I'm pretty sure it would take well over a week to dehydrate a snake.

Well, when i went to meet the snake for the first time, she had her ina good cage... but I noticed the water bowl was about 1/2 centimeter thick, even if she had water before they left, it would have evaportated... quickly, I'm not sure she ever even had a descent soak.
I just keep thinking that if i had gone to get her while she was away, she'd still be alive. It just kills me on the inside.
