Re: I want to pump me up!
One thing to keep in mind is that you have to work out to achieve YOUR individual goals. If you are looking to build the perfectly sculpted "bodybuilder's physique" you will be on a completely different training and diet path than the guy who's goal is to be able to lift is car in a deadlift. And different again than that guy who is training for endurance and stregnth for athletic purposes (while still maintaining his agility and quickness). Still different than the guy who wants that "walk on the beach shirtless" look.
The VERY FIRST thing you are going to want to do is to figure out where you want to go..That way you can choose the right map to get there. If you work out aimlessly with no specific goals that you are trying to reach then you will waste alot of time and energy with minimal progress.
I am definately no expert but I do know that I have acomplished up to where I feel I should be to this point. But that is because I know what I wanted before I started.
Good luck on your plight

yeah, i wanted to go from 170 to 220 and after busting my butt for a few years and being a solid 200lbs, i decided that was about as much as i could hope for without dropping $1000 on a 10 week cycle, which would cut into my snake funds :0
kinda like cars, you always plan to be super fast and unless you're loaded, you won't reach those goals and you may have wasted a ton of money trying to do it all motor instead of with a big old sloppy turbo setup
at 27 years old, i'm now just wanting to stay in good shape and give myself chills when i look in the mirror, but i'm so freaking ugly i'll settle for the good shape goal

I want decent pectoral and lat muscle depth, defined arms and legs. I'm not bent on the six pack, but a little definition would help I'm basically looking to be more effective in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, while also looking good shirtless Haha, as lame as that sounds, come on, who doesn't???

Sounds like perhaps circuit training is the direction you may want to go. Seems to be more benificial in the field of other athletics than static resistance training. Adds to definition. Helps in BF reduction. Gives good muscle density (not quite as good for gaining raw mass but will definately give that beach look AND inrease stregnth, endurance and heck---maybe even that 6-pack...lol...a sixpack is mainly low body fat as opposed to large abdominal muscles anyway).
once again GOOD LUCK

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but could you possibly define circuit training? Dank, you've been a huge help man, I really appreciate it.

That would be greatly appreciated if it's not too much trouble! I'm 5'10, almost 5'11" and about 160 pounds last I checked. I do have some remnants of mass from when I used to work out, but that's what I'm working on, right? Even if I don't follow to the T, it would still be a great guidline to get me started. Thanks man!

Re: I want to pump me up!
I would like to know what on earth will cost a $1000 in ten weeks? That is absurd.
When you took animal stak are you referring to the original animal stak with prohormones/prosteroids in it or are you referring to the new animal stak 2 with all natural testosterone and GH boosters in it?
Basslogic I am going to warn you now. If you head to any bodybuilding forum now you will see them promoting all kinds of supplements. After the prohormone ban supplement company's got creative. They developed hormones that technically weren't prohormones so they could legally be sold. What they are is methylated or 17 alpha-alkylated hormones (steroids-flat out) that are extremely hepatoxic and destroy your lipid profile. I know personally many guys that have in 4 weeks had their hdl drop to single digits.
These supplements work, very very well. They are very risky though. Alot of guys are willing to do them though for the simple fact that one they are legal (for now) and two they can pass a steroid drug test so they can still get away with saying they are natural. When they are not. When you have to run a PCT due to HPTA shutdown from a supplement, guess what, you aren't natural anymore.
If you start messing around with these things research first. I can give you a whole list of things to take (herbs) to keep your lipids, lever enzymes, and the like in check for the mos | |
