Things are completely different in other countries, and I have heard Al Corwitz, a very well respected keeper tell a story about visiting a village where they raise King Cobras for antivenin production. Al said they had a room/building/hut (I cant recall) where they kept all the Kings together in one room..and he noticed one that seemed a bit unhealthy, so he told the man who ran the place.
The proprietor walked in to the room full of King cobras all over the place, pointed at the same humongous King Al had noticed seemed unhealthy, and just picked him up behind the head, and proceeded to evaluate him. Al said he was so dumbfounded he didn't get pics, but it's something that he (and MOST of us) would NEVER consider doing lol.
A lot of people think Bill Haast & Ray Hunter are out of their minds for working with venomous snakes they way they do.
I still think DeadliestFormula is right about this particular story, however..lol
