We all talked with your accountant and he said that YES you are definately broke now, but that was after we all told 'em that you also needed to buy more cages and another house to keep the new ones at.. Lori- I'll have pics of the black rats, ghosts, and stripes tomorrow evening. The other corns are coming from Rich Z., and should be here on Tuesday. Ironically, I'm most looking forward to the Okeetees out of that group. I've always been a sucker for a classically colored Okie. Same for the black milks. The boas are going to have to wait until I return from France.
Boaguy- It is a lot of work, but it's definitely worth it. Granted, there's not many of my snakes that I get to handle all that often, though. As a matter of fact, all of my boas are fairly aggressive, except for the het anery female.
I've taken the cheap way when it comes to caging. Most of my snakes are housed in Rubbermaids and Sterlites of various sizes. My average investment in caging is around $5 per snake. If my womas breed next year, I plan to move everyone except the hots into Freedom Breeders. In the long run, the Freedom Breeders will pay for themselves by reducing my utility bills, as well as saving me a lot of time when I'm cleaning and feeding.
Feeding gets expensive, especially when babies arrive. Luckily, that's where the house snakes come in handy. If I choose to, I can produce baby house snakes of various morphs year round. The house snakes are really my "bread and butter". They pay the rodent bills.

Ahh.. AHS .. Your the one keeping these huh? Tell me what I can do with one that's not feeding for me pleease... I have tried everything to get it to feed to no avail..gonna try anole soon like Ravnos suggested if it goes much longer though. Oh.. She's just a lil thing btw.. about 12" is all atm. They are too dang sqirmy to even try to get a length on really imo.. All the more reason i love my boas better hehe.

Very nice najaboy!! I can't wait to see pics of you new additions...(or should I say colonies? hee)
Are you making room and that's why you're selling your gorgeous GTP?? Man I wish I had
the money for him, he's beautiful!
My snakes are all kinda the same way.. not aggressive really, but not all that tame either,
the b/f lambasts me for not handling them more.. lol... it just seems I've always just fed
someone or they're in shed or I find I tend to take the same ones out the most more than
the others. Oh well.. I guess that's what happens when your collection "grows".

Thanks April! The main reason I'm selling the gtp is financial. Secondary to that is him not fitting into any of my projects- a snake that gorgeous should definitely be able to pass on its genes.
Anyways, some last minute additions to the list:
1.1 Cape York spotted pythons
1.1 Children's pythons

Naja, Stupid quesion... but if a black corn snake is completely black... how the #$%^$%^$%^$%^& would you know an Albino black rat snake when you saw one? wouldn't it just be a completely white snake?

It's not a stupid question, Seany. Black rat snakes possess other skin pigments besides melanin. They are, however, normally masked by the black. Remove the melanin, and this is what you get...
