Got that Mustang

Yep my father said we will buy it before asking if i like it

Its a beauty perfect in every way and then some. Its got brand new Goodyear tires and really nice 17" rims. 1month old clutch, fully serviced, and great people to deal with! There was also not mentioned a new audio system put in (speakers, cd player etc all around). And i went through all the gears on the highway and they were as smooth as a baby's bottom. The handeling was incredible for a 14 year old car. It was garaged 10yrs of its life. The car is awesome

Im going to get some pics of me driving it once it shows up tommorow.

Thanks and im pumped i caint wait for it to be here in my driveway tommorow!
Also youd thing a 17 yr under 1yr driver with a Red Mustang for a first car and a speeding ticket already, youd think the insurace would be a killer. Well nope it was only around $1700. And the car was $3950

I just remember when I was 18 and had a 96 thunderbird..something with rear wheel drive sport cars,women, and hormones makes guys do dumb things..lol

I wish I still had my first car. 1969 Chrysler 300 convertible with a 383. Red with black seats and top. They made 300 convertibles 2 years. 68 they made 1000 of them. In 69 they made 1500 so with a total of 2500 made...not many still on the road even in 1980 when I started driving. It was quite rare. I didn't drive it much. It sucked too much gas. We sold that car and bought it back 3 times from various people over the years lol...I have no idea who has it now. I drove to school and work most days in a little 80 chevy monza( not the hatchback) 4 on the floor 4 cyl...great mileage, fun little car in it's time. Somewhere in there I picked up another old project car that was pretty much restored when I got it and my second favorite old muscle car I ever had....68 Skylark with a 340 light blue...loved that all chromed out dash....sweet ride. Sold in to a mechanic and a week later it got stolen...bummer.

ouch that sucks! I am working on picking up a 68 Galaxy 500 2 door coupe with a 390 in it for a fun summer car...

Congrats!! My first car was a Mustang also and second, third and fourth cars were too! I remember street racing in Washington, D.C. on V street in N.E. every Friday and Saturday night like it was yesterday....... Had a lot of fun, seen a lot of accidents and seen people die street racing over the years... Just be smart about driving. I rented one of the new Shelby GT-500's on my last vacation man that is the most well put together street car I have ever drove that thing made me want another race car!!!

Everyone sounds like they had some good first cars. I dont concider this my
"race car" at all. If anything i liked just cruising in it. Though for the test drive i wanted to make sure everything was solid. Its also a plus that i know my buddys in the hoda civics cant touch me

. And like is said its a sure looker too 17" chrome rims, New Good Year Tires, New Sound System, New "Candy Apple" Red paint, Flowmaster cat back exhuast system, spankin new clutch, and clean as a whistle. I just caint wait to get it registered and take it out for a cruise around my area.

1700 a year??? Sheezzzee!! Mine was 875 a year with a 500 dollar deductible for a vette... This is one time I am glad to be older and get those nice multi car and homeowner discounts.

Though I can remember oh too well how much it was for me when I bought my first vette when I turned 21.. The insurance payments were more that the car payments!!

So have fun with the GT and avoid the police.
