I say go for it, sounds like a great price.
You can run a carfax report to be sure.

Nick, that is way too much car for your first one. PLEASE find something cheaper and more economical. That thing is a guzzler and only runs properly on premium gas. It also has a tendency to bring out the lead foot stupidity in people, and being RWD its not very forgiving of a heavy right foot with all that torque. Please listen to me and find something less "fun" for your first car.
BTW: That's a decent deal on that car though; personally I won't touch Fords. You would have to pay ME to take it.

I probably sounded a bit harsh in my previous post. Nick, you are 17. From what anyone can tell you are a very mature and responsible person. That said, cars are MY strong suit and believe me, you do NOT need this car now, nor should you even want it (it's a Ford after all). I'm not going to coddle you and feed you the same load of stuff that I was fed at your age, just believe me please.

Alright thanks Tom. Its still in my list of contender's. I also have a Jetta im looking into and a Civic and also a 4x4 Ford Ranger. We will see. The price is almost too good and im going to atleast take it for a ride and test it out. Id prefer not to buy from a private seller so thats my only downfall on this car.

check KBB.com (that's kelley blue book) you should be able to find prices there for just about anything just about anywhere.
Call insurance companies and get quotes. Make sure that the insurance payments are not going to be something that is hard to keep up with.
And enjoy whatever car you end up with.

Re: Good 94 Mustang Price?
Not that bad for a SN95 platform. Though it being a 5 speed you need to be aware that the 3rd gear syncro ring is the weak point of the T-5 tranny. They were made of bronze and tend to chip and break when slamming through the gears. One little chip can cause explosive results and a $500 rebuild. Also they upgraded to 18 inch rims and tires when 16 inchers were stock. This messes with the spedo and if it hasn't been corrected you will be off as much as 10 mph and not know your exact speed untill you get a ticket. And it throws the odometer off also. I would safely add around 5k miles to it if the rim and tire change was done less than a year ago.
