I got a raise
So i have been having a hard time finding work right now. Alot of jobs get ruled out when your 17. But my father has noticed this the past few months and has put me to work on the house. Right now ive been slowly but doing it correctly patching all our walls, replacing the floor boards, and finished installing a new toilet yesterday (he has many more planned including finishing the basement which is concrete walls and floor right now!). So i get a nice fat raise (somewhere in the range of 40% increase). I'll have to wait until he deposits the money into my account to see how much but thats the % he gave me. Now if i could only do math instead of toilets  . LOL

Sweet!! I love raises. I asked for one Monday and I looked at my check yesterday and got it. I was stoked. They didn't even tell me they were gonna do it. Hey I'm sure you could find something that will hire you even though your 17. I started working when I was 15.

That is great more money is always good.
And think of all the hands on experience your getting.
There are way too many adults that cannot do things (like what you are doing) for themselves. They will always end up hiring someone a paying threw the nose for it.

Since were on the subject of work/jobs i have also got word that the local TMLP (Ligthing/Electricity Plant) are hireing temp jobs which can turn into full time. A kid my age has been working there 2 months as a temp in the warehose and was just put on as full time and is getting a base salary of 15$ an hour and 40 hours a week. On top of that job i have a pending hireing at a local fish shop as a fry cook. So im hoping i can get something steady. Im also awaiting my online schooling diploma to come in the mail! Soo things are moving pretty quick as i am trying to get my future going!
