I think they could eat a whole hatchling. Otherwise, they might eat pieces. I had one that took a bite out of my fresh water stingray once. They don't care if something is too big to eat. They'll just pull a piece off.

That's such a funny news title...
However I understand how those frogs are, I used to have a male albino, and while he got along with the majority of the fish I had in the tank with him.... any new fish I put in there, he would try and eat them no matter how big they were. He'd come up and try and eat my finger along with the food sticks. lol And I loved listening to him sit on the bottom of his tank at night and sing, or rather chirp like a cricket. lol But yeah.... they'll eat anything.
