We finally had a camera handy when ole Chomper decided to mount one of his attacks on my son Logan. Don't look any further if you can't handle gore......

I guess Chomper just can't resist pinkies. Believe it or not this is Logan's favorite snake. And they say Emeralds are mean.

Six. Same son in the emerald thread.

Best kid in the world. Tough as nails. Great little league player. Never missed a spelling word or made less than 100 on any test at school. Loves king snakes, especially the fiesty ones. What more could a dad ask for.

He's wanted a picture of that real bad and gets mad when I can't make it in time with the camera. I came through tonight.

You know, after we cleaned it, there was not so much as a mark. Never is with king snakes it seems. Their teeth are real small. Sometimes it doesn't even draw blood.

awesome..my son will be 5 in April and took one right to the nose by the Costa Rican..what a champ..I love this age...

Brave little boy! LOL My brother SCREAMS like a little girl when I bring the snake near him. My little 2 yr old sister comes right up to my BP and goes straight ahead and pokes his face and pets him... I dont know why she has this facination with poking his face. He doesnt like it and im scared he might bite her or she'll hurt him

I'm going to take Lisa to my mom's house this summer and force the introduction. She wants NO part of my herp fascination but hey, she needs to get used to it. I know my siblings will be interested. Summer is best, gets her bigger and more hardy, plus the warmth allows me more in terms of travel (its a 2 hr drive) and general husbandry during that time. I just need to keep her AWAY from her parents, my grandmother will probably run screaming and grandad will probably jsut try to kill her.
