I have passed 3 (2 in the hospital 1 at my place) and I actually still have 2 waiting to be passed.
Pain is terrible, but once they get you in the hospital and get you pain meds its not so bad

Not sure if it's okay with kidney stones, but you can take a urinary analgesic and that should stop. Azo makes one I think. CVS or the grocery store

Yesterday Am when I woke up it felt like someone used my left kidney as a punching bag. I kept getting sharp pain, hot and clammy and running a low grade fever. Overall feeling crummy. After a sharp "hot poker-like" pain my kidney felt better.

Are you sure it's not a kidney infection? While fever and pain is not unusual with kidney stones, it's best to have it checked at a hospital. You don't want kidney damage. If the stone is too large to pass, it needs intervention to take care of it.

Yeah, i'd head to the hospital to make sure, and put down a ton of water to flush your system. Hope you feel better soon.

I am on antibiotics for a bladder/kidney infection. It is the same medicine that is used for both. Today and even this evening I am much better. I'm drinking tons of water and Gatorade. I haven't ran a fever today at all.

not sure if yall knew this, but even a SODA will rehydrate...its a quick burst that MUST be followed up with water/gatorade etc but it WILL work for a short quick fix. Its not as bad as its made out to be. just more useless info from me.

Somewhere in my archives I have an herbal recipe that gets rid of kidney stones before they get bad enough to hurt. If anyone is interested I will go dig it out and post it. It is a kidney cleanse recipe. It requires you to boil several different types of herbs and drink them several times a day for many weeks. So it's a lot of work. But supposedly you can see the kidney crystals when they are passed through the urine so you know it's working.
