I'm in shock....and love :D
So earlier this morning I couldn't sleep, so i went and ran some errands. During this wandering i decided to drop by the pet store (mom n pop corner store) to see whats new. I was amazed. They got some new stock in last week . Ya'll tell me if these are good prices: (all snakes are babies/young)
-Green Anaconda ($250) (about 2.5')
-Retic ($190) (about 2')
-2 Albino Burmese Pythons (about 2')
-High Color Columbian Boa ($200) (sold ) (1.5')
-Guyanan RTB ($290) (BEAUTIFUL) (2')
-Dumerils Boa (not sure on price, appx 3')
-2 GTP ($550 apiece) (so small they could wrap around your middle finger)
-2 BPs (about $90 a piece)
PLUS a nice assortment of scorpions, tarantulas, milks/corns, beardies, geckos etc. And naturally the fish/turtles/birds etc.
One of the Burmese was stalking the gecko in the next cage over...
Ok I'm done gushing. BEFORE anyone jumps on my case about the lack of photos, I didn't have a camera nor did I think I could get away with it and the quality would have seriously been lacking.

-Green Anaconda ($250) (about 2.5')-------Little High
-Retic ($190) (about 2')-------Way highly priced
-2 Albino Burmese Pythons (about 2')------No price listed should be around $150.
-High Color Columbian Boa ($200) (sold ) (1.5')------Ok'ly priced though need to see it.
-Guyanan RTB ($290) (BEAUTIFUL) (2')-------Normal
-Dumerils Boa (not sure on price, appx 3')---------No price, should be around a normal redtail price.
-2 GTP ($550 apiece) (so small they could wrap around your middle finger)------Normal
-2 BPs (about $90 a piece)------A bit high though its a petshop.
I factored in shipping also b.c most likley they had t pay shipping. So i added on about 35-50 for most ads on kingsnake.

I think it's a little high for the prices you listed.

BP are more here at Petco. They are like $100 but I wouldn't buy one there anyways.

Seems a bit hefty for the normal BP's, if they are males. For females it would be low average. The Dumeril's should run around $150. Agree with honaker as to high priced retics and condas. The higher the price is the more likely they won't get picked up by some kid that cannot imagine the size they get when they are grown.

For $500 you could get a nice US captive born and bred GTP's that you have a complete history on. I paid less than that for mine and I wouldn't touch a petstore one unless they could prove it was in fact hatched here in the US.
