christina - first off, what type of camera is it? what is the brand name, and what is the style number, etc?
the first thing you need to do is find and download the drivers needed to run it. then, you need to plug it in (some drivers require you to plug it in first, some during and some after - I've had numerous webcams) plug it in - this is usually via a USB port.
after that, it SHOULD run just fine

I guess it's like video conferencing... This is something I'd like to set up for the Big RTB get together... I don't know if we can get something like that to work or not....

actually, lol. i need to get MINE working again.
i forgot that my dog (when he was still a puppy) ate my driver disc for my webcam.
gotta go search for them. but once i find em, its back to the same old mischief
