I am probably about 95% packed - and cursing everytime I want to use something just to remember it is packed.
I did accomplish the most important part today - feed Rex and change his bedding out. Thawed his rats - got him out and put him in the tub and gave him the first small rat. He crawls over and around - tries getting out of the tub - and then on his way back down notices the rat. Ever so slowly, as if he couldn't care less, he swallows his dinner. I give him his second rat - meanwhile working hard at cleaning and changing his home - and he turns into Mr Macho and strikes it.
So I get finished, get the heat back on in his home for a bit, and then he is ready to home. He is such a gentleman he flicks my chin and then goes for his hide. teeheehee Whew! Lots and lots of work today - and still a bit more to get done before I call it quits tonight. But it may just have to wait until tomorrow as I am getting hungry now.
Anyway - moving this Thursday as we have the 22 and 23 off for Rodeo days so it gives me a long weekend to move, clean and start to settle in. I can't wait for it to get over!!!
