Great Herp item found at....BestBuy!
Now that I have a few snakes, the one thing that my wife will NOT let me do is keep frozen mice in our freezer. Its not a particularly big freezer, either, so I had to come up with a solution.
To aleviate the situation, I found a small freezer at BestBuy- 5.5 cubic feet, enough to keep a ton of stuff in, including a nice, good sized discreet box with my frozen snake goodies in it. It made the wife much happier.
BB is having a 10% off sale too (or 12% if you have one of their buyer cards).
The freezer was $175, down to like $158. )
Coupon for said sale is here:

Anyone who keeps frozen mice and stuff in their freezer should check them out!

Good thing I don't have a wife (lol). My frozen rats sit happily next to the frozen bananas and frozen dinners. Seriously, that is a great idea.

haha... I already got my own 5.5 cubic foot freezer from Best Buy last year to keep all my frozen rodents in.... managed to talk them down the price a little bit, too. So now I can keep all the frozen rodents out of the big freezer we keep our food in...
Walmart also carries 5.5 to 7.0 cubic foot chest freezers, too.... but whenever I went looking for them at the time I needed one, they didn't have any in stock, so I just went with Best Buy.... but Walmart's 5.5 was only $154.

I keep 3 freezers one of which is the 5.5 from Best Buy which is just for mice and rats (and the occasional bunnies), the other two are one for "game" meats, and the final one is for beef and chicken. It fits rather nicely in the snake room due to it's compact size. And due to the way the hall is right before you get to the door to the snake room you can't manage to get anything over 4 feet in length around the sharp corner with almost no back space till you hit the door and frame going into the snake room. I so look foward to finally moving into the new house in a month. I will have a lot more room but I don't see needing anything larger than the 5.5 unless I buy a lot more reptiles and that would call for more caging also. But then again there are a couple of cages I do want to try out and see how they last vs the visions I use now.....
