Website speed

Ok Im sure alot of people are wondering whats up with this. Its 2 fold:
1) Something is up with the connection and I have talked with Micah Over at Fauna About this. He is on it as we speak. He is contacting the people that provide the line is going to try and figure out why the speed of the connection has dramitcally dropped.

2). We have been growing like crazy and as a pre-caution we are going to move the database to a serparate machine running FreeBSD 4.5. If anyone in here can get a good deal on 1/2u rack cases with a good motherboard let me know by email me at natas@redtailboa.net. As of right now we have a scsi controller with hard drives, so all we need is memory, case motherboard and cpu. Nothing to crazy...heck a AMD duron or Intel Celeron would do the job.

As of right now we think once we resolve #1 the speed of the site will be back to normal. Number 2 will also increase the speed a little and will also help the more we grow, and once we start hosting more websites!

Wow thats a good price....

But I only need a 800MHZ Duron...nothing more. Also I need a Motherboard with Video/Lan built in....but no ATA Raid as I am going to use a SCSI controller with SCSI disks. I have a Adaptec 2940UW and a 9.1 gig drive ready.

So see if you can find me a cheap motherboard that will fit in that case...I know they sell Motherboard+CPU combo's with 800mhz Duron for really cheap...I saw them on pricewatch for under $100 (with out the fan of course).
