Sport bikers?

It seems there are a lot of Harley riders here. Most of the guys at work ride cruisers. I like sport bikes

I hope that worked....I think it did.....just read that particular response and you will see why there is such a divide between Harley owners and Sport bike owners.

Thanks Danktat. Yeah, I saw that other thread but decided to stay out of it. There's a bike out there to satisfy just about anyone, but no single bike will suit everyone. I would rather have a V-Rod than a Buell though.

So once again, are there any sport bikers here???????

I dont have the money to own one. But i have driven a few. Its nice to be able to be doing 70 in 2nd gear . I also had a Banshee engine replaced with a GSX motor (i cant remember what size motor it was). My father paid for that stuff back then when i was into the racing and offroad stuff. I outrode the cops MANY times on the road in the Banshee with the dulie's! Just the good old days when i was a reckless young teen.

Have you derestricted that Kawi yet? It's too bad they limited all the superbikes to a 186mph top speed (LOL!). Here's my last bike, a 2004 ZX10R:

It was my 10th streetbike and 4th "real" sportbike. The only "cruiser" I ever owned was a Yamaha XJ650 Maxim I bought back in 1980.

70 in second gear? That ZX10R I had would literally do 103mph in 1st gear! The sportbike mags said it would so I tested it out, sure nuff' it was bang'in the rev limiter at 103. First production bike to ever break the ton in first.
