Why can't our bodies fully digest corn?
I have always wondered, does anybody know the answer?

The body can digest corn. It usually corn that has not been chewed that passes thru the body. If this were not the case you would poo a bowl full of rainbow colors. Don't you remember you mom telling you to chew your food.. well, she knew...hahaha

LOL!!!
Because we don't have the enzymes to break down what the corn kernel skin/covering is made of... However, we do digest/absorb the inside of the corn kernel... It is made up of mostly starch (complex carb)...

I read in a preschool book to eat alot of corn at breakfast, and see how long it takes to come out(Check your poo).
So I did, and it took 24 hours for me.
