Well, he isnt a baby.. but he is my baby. He is a 2yr (estimated) Argentine Boa. Awesome colors compared to most Argies ive seen. Also, he loves to be handled compared to most of the Boids I've seen this large. He also dosent mind his face/head being handled unlike most. We fell in love with him after handling him for a bit at Aquatic.. and decided to take the beauty home. Here are some pics, btw, the girl is my wife. Oh, and if you look close in a couple of the pics.. you can see an awesome "cross" on his face.. its wicked!

Hey, he is a beauty. Nice find.
(I know you probably know this already, but do him and yourself a favor and don't feed him on the substrate. I would hate to see him swallow any.)
You did very well finding him. He is gorgeous. Neat cross, I love those on the boas. I like them on donkeys as well.
Hey, speaking of which, you know why donkeys have the crosses on their backs, right? (from carrying Jesus twice in the bible). Makes you wonder about the cross on boas' faces. Hmmm, a good argument for the devil/snakes thread in Help Me.
Anyway, what did you name him? He deserves a good name as pretty and sweet as he is.
Have fun with him!

WOW! lucky Bewsi, that is an awsome find, fresh snake! where did you find him anyway? (I see a good entry for snake of the month!) yeah, you probably already know that accidently eating substrate could cause some health problems like mouthrot, and impaction to name a couple. -Juggalo

Very nice! My argie has the 'cross' also but it actually looks more like a Y or maybe a peace sign....hehe I do love these guys, for all their intimidation tactics when younger and not used to handling, I do find them to be rather sweet once they get to know you. Congratulations!!

p.s. Pretty wife, too!
