Well today I gave my sweet little borneo short-tail her second of the seven shot series of antibiotics to help rid her nasty URI. My vet showed me how to administer the shots and where. Princess is a less than tame borneo to say the least so my girlfriend had to hold her steady. I commend both of the two ladies. Princess for taking it all in stride and Kate for being my "big helper". She is kind of afraid of Princess but when she found out that our "little girl" was sick she didn't hesitate to help out. Over all, Princess seems to be doing much better than she was just four days ago. She is more active and back to her old tricks, ie trying to strike at me through the cage and hissing at me when I give her fresh water. Just five more shots to go before we're over this hurdle.

Princess was my christmas gift from my girlfriend. She is wc about three foot long, and just under two pounds. The vet said she is under weight so after she poops I have to take it to the vet so she can see if Princess has any parasites. She is taking down small rats, but wont take lab rats. She is indeed my "little Princess". She is getting a new home this weekend, I think I'm more excited than her. LOL.
