quick question about Anerys

Do they brown out when they get older?

Because all the anerys I see for sale that are adults all seem to be brown looking.

and to me brown is a sure sign that there is red. And having red is not the same as lack of red (anery)

The brown in anery boas results from yellow pigment. Just as anery boas tend to brown out, so to do snow boas tend to yellow with age.

Just wanted to make sure this was really an anery before I mated it to the albino.
friend got it from a "big named" breeder and I was not sure....I thought the brown came from the red coloring....But I see your point

after all...the adult anerys I see being sold by "big named" breeders are all on the brown side.
