For those who care, no more herping in the south east for me. I'll be heading to California for another year of schooling. I'm changing my jobs for a decent bonus. I'll finally get my emerald I always wanted!! For those who are in the military I'm going to 29 Palms if you're there look me up!! Look forward to meeting you west coast peoples!! From what I hear it's 4hrs from san diego. Pretty much desert. Oh well, as long as there's snakes to catch I'm happy. I got like 4 months max before I head out there. I'll be throwing a huge going away party when I leave here. If your in the area you're more than welcome to come. Bring single sexy woman, I like them too... Anywho, just thought I'd let some of you know. I'll be driving so maybe I'll run into some of you on the way. We'll see. I gotta plan now so I know what I'm getting into. Laterz.....

I unexpectedly had family come in town and that was the end of that. wasn't even the bud chicks, but family. so that's why I never showed. look forward to seeing the pics. you're no good at these trips Rev!! Hey Jugg, I'm going from a weather tech (where I fix radars, computers, and communications gear) to a technical controller ( where I'll be more of in charge in networking data comm). Plus they're gonna pay me to go there. 20G's baby!!
Big O, I'll be sight seeing like crazy!! I've always wanted to see the grand canyon and stuff like that. I'll be seeing that zoo and I'll take pics for all to see when I get there.
Oh, another thing hisba is I'll hopefully be showing up with some baby albino cali kings when I get there if you're interested.

On another note it's in Bernardito county or something like that. I guess I"m about 8hrs away from you ladies. When I first get there I may need some snake sitters if any are interested until I can get my apartment. I got 2 albino kings in separate cages, 2 redtails in separate cages and 1 argentine in a lil cage...he's still a lil guy. It would really give me a great excuse to drive up to the Bay Area on the weekends...I'll work something out with my dogs....I hear the scorpions are bad out there....this oughta be fun... Hey Cap'n, you'll be living in prime Mojave rattlesnake (C. scutolatus) territory...along with some other cool Calif. herps. I lived in Vegas for 10 years and all around So. Cal., where I'm originally from. Easy access to Rosy boas, desert tortoises, desert iquanas, chucawallas, you name it. 29 Palms (San Bernardino County) is in the low, Colorado Desert...part of the Sonoran Desert system. Just gotta look past the creosote bush to see the real beauty of the desert though...it's there.

ldydrgn is right...the cool babes are in Nor. Cal. though, or at least living here half my life has prompted me to be biased that way. Unfortunately, 2/3rds of the people in California live in the lower half...that's another plus about the north. Anyway, hope to get to meet you while you're here on the left coast!
