The results of the snake-owners (feeding) poll...
Ok, this is interesting.. there were 550 views of the poll, 68 people took the poll (gave an answer), but a total of 74 votes were recorded! That's a glitch? or a way for the site moderators to get their opinions noted?
.
Anyway the six options on the poll asked about how you feel about feeding your boa. Actually only two choices were offered.. as follows (with the numbers).
.
1) Feeding is a big part of my experience of having a Boa pet.. (six)
.
2) Feeding is not an important part of owning a Boa pet.. (sixty-eight)
.
Take that info and do whatever you might like with it.

hmm... feeding is feeding. i think the "neatness" of watching them feed wore off after the first time i watched a snake eat - it wasnt even my snake. i will admit you can get some neat picture oportunites from it, but its not all "oooh, ahhh, lemme go get some more popcorn"
i just make sure their food is thawed, put to the right temperature, and ready to go for them. i guess i dont understand why people think that watching their snake eat is the coolest "badest" thing around.

Certainly if you took my remark so seriously and were offended by it then I apologise! I continue to be made aware of just how touchy the much-appreciated staff is! My sole endeavour is to improve myself.

I think Lizards are much more exciting to watch eat.

one of my snakes really kills the dead prey, we are talking she strangles it for 15 minutes. then if she accidentally makes the dead prey move, she starts the procedure all over again. i stand there and lmbo!

I feel rude watching Orion eat. The other day i checked in on him to see if he was done and he had his mouth full of mouse, it felt like I caught him in the middle of a lewd act :P . I admit i like watching him constrict, but actually eating isn't interesting.
