my daughter devin is getting back into equestrian. she already has ribbons she has won. well we found the perfect horse. the horse is in ohio and will be shipped here in a few weeks.

Are you planning on keeping this horse at your home? Very lucky my neighbors have horses they are very smart animals and are awesome to watch when there in herds. I use to ride my fourwheeler while my neighbor rode hers she said when we would race the horse was actually trying to beat me! lol

16.3 hands is a decent size. i miss horses. i have a few ribbons....
i used to work at a cattle ranch, so most riding ive done is western, but i miss showing, and english, etc.
devins so lucky.

i ride both... they both have their uses. i can stay in a western saddle alllll day every day. you cant in an englsh saddle....

(plus, i cant imagine cutting a bull from the herd in an english saddle)

awwwww she's a baby!!!! is she broke??? do you ride english or western? she looks to be about 15.2-3 hands 9for you non - horse ppl a hand is 4 inches and the height is measured to their withers ... or shoulder )

she's a cutie for sure!!! my rudy was that color when we got him as a 4 year old now he is almost solid white

aww 16.3 i was alittle off lol my 16.3hh bay gelding, jack had to get put down not too long ago he was a HUGE bay throughbread - off the track but trained in 3 day eventing - he was at a stable where he was being used for lessons and he had gotten kicked and the stable didn't do anything about it - his shoulder bone was splintered and he could hardly walk, we had $3000 worth of surgery done on him, but the best he would be is a companion - after the surgery, a calsium deposit formed in his joint and he had to drag that leg to walk, bt he wan't in any pain so we kept him in the pasture with mojo and rudy - he was doing fine but then he would start to lay down and he wouldn't be able to get back up b/c of his joint, after a while of the my mom sent him to a rehab lady (every one else said we should put him diwn but my mom refused to) there he laid down in his stall and just couldn't get up anymore so the vet came out and put him down he was awesome. he's burried on a hill in a huge pasture now. sorry for the long rant.

english is fun - i've been jumping rudy recentally - he's about 15.3hh but man is he a powerhouse when it comes to jumping - he's cleared 4'5" oxers before .... jumping is amazingly fun, i'm also a rodeo girl tho - mojo is my barrelracing horse

i love trailriding, it's a blast and at my friend's old barn, there was a cow pasture on it too and we usted to go and separate one from the herd, it was a BLAST! man, cutting horses are hard to stay on tho

(i could talk all day about horses, i love them!)
