I get to be fancy tonight
I am taking my girl out tonight to a nice fancy place to eat (celebrating 6 months together). So we are going to dress up and act all important.
We are going to eat at a place called Lola. It got 5 stars from multiple reviewers here in Dallas. Check it out
http://www.lola4dinner.com/
I am reading the menu and don't know what half of the stuff is. All I know is I am going to act like I am important and say something like "I want the Panzanella with a glass of your finest wine" lol. I love acting like I am all rich and famous. Its fun
Anyone got any other suggestions? We are leaving in a few hours

Sorry I keep thinking of the movie "Dumb and Dumber"
Lloyd: 'Excuse me, Flo? What's the soup du jour?'
Waitress: 'It's the soup of the day.'
Lloyd: 'Hmmm... Sounds good. I'll have that.'
Lol, thats so me right now. I am on Wikipedia looking all this stuff up.

I was thinking of the squid salad, but it depends on how the squid is prepared.
And the Venison Dish and the Quail sound so good!

If it were me, I'd do the "Tasting room". It's not often that you can say you have just enjoyed a 14 course meal.

True, but I am pretty picky about food and feel like I would be rude by not eating 1/3rd of the food.
If this place turns out good we will probably go back for another occasion and do the tasting room

I was in Dallas a couple of years back and went to a place called Popadoes. Dont think I spelled it right. I have to say it was the best meal I have had in my life. It was Mahi Mahi with a shrimp/mushroom gravy. I also tried(forgive me) fried alligator and frog legs it was very good. I hope you have a very nice time.
