I need a small piece to insulated the heat tape. The heat is escaping thru the back of the center of the tape and the weather has gone from 95 to 65 within the past few weeks. It's not available locally and an I don't need yards of the stuff which is how it's sold online.

Cant tell me you dont have a Lowes Or Home Depot type of store there. It's found in the ventilation section by the galvanized duct sections. A 25' roll may cost you a whole $4.00

I tried home depot and couldn't find it. The employees weren't much help locating it either. I'll try them again this afternoon. I had hoped to give someone a few bucks for the size I needed but I guess that won't be happening.

I'd be happy to send you piece if needed, I got mine at Home Depot in heating duct work section. Email your address though if you need it. The stuff I have is 1 3/4" wide I believe.
