Mag what does your dress look like? The way you do your hair will depend a lot on the cut of your dress...
One thing to keep in mind since you have very long hair is that it can sometimes be hard to get a nice looking updo with it - Thats because you can only pile up so much hair into curls and loops and buns without it looking like a big haired lady....
Depending on your dress you may want to consider doing a half updo with some of your hair hanging down but like i said it depends on what you are wearing.

my dress is a deep purple that is floor length and right under mybust line there is a row of diamond looking stones and above my bust line is velvet and below is a sleek silk like material. the top is like a narrow tank top. i have a diamond necklace that i'm wearing with it ... silver hoops in my 1st ear hole and diamond studs in my 2nd .... and a fake diamond bracelet, i was thinking about having part up and part down, esp since my hair is so thick .... it's a pain sometimes but i love it

I like a variation of the fourth one down. I think it would do well with your hair and you could make it work with your hair. Some of the others I think would be hard to pull off with as much hair as you have. Of course, we want pictures when the night is done.

Dread locks come on that would look sweet plus its better the longer your hair is mine was down to my chest when i got mine done for OZZFEST it would be original unless someone beat you to it??

hahaha 4 a while i was thinking about getting mini dreds, but then i decided agiainst it .... i was also thinking about shaving both sides of my head and having a HUGE mohawk, i think that would be hot too ... lol i just don't think i have the facial features to go bald or mo-hawk
my appt for hair is @ 3 today, i'll be leavig ya'll in suspence till tomarrow

You should do a trial one for each of them then you can really see how they look on YOU. thats what i did for mine, plus it also gives you a food idea on whichon eyour stylist is best at
