A Comedy of Errors
Thought I would share a bit of what has been happening in my life. The guy I was living with talked me into moving in with him - nice little 2 bdrm duplex and mostly me paying for the rent and down. hmmmm? Then he moves in lots of stuff and my poor baby was given to my daughter to care for until we got a bigger place. Quit my job and went temp - making more $$ - temped into a sweet purchasing clerk job and my boss wants me permanent. BF bought a used car/van and then had problems keeping his end of the rent, utilities, food, etc. up - but we agreed that it would get better once it and the child support was paid off. BF got new shift so he worked weekends and off during the week. Things started changing - I kept trying and thought he was too. His daughter moved in - temporarily. He was ocassionally hard or not able to talk on the phone as normal - chaulked it up to his computer repair he was out on. hmmmm? Then one night - when we had made plans - he tells me he is leaving me for another woman. *sigh* So he tore my heart out, stomped on it and tossed it aside. His friends and family are mad at him and offered to help me out when/if I need it. (and so far have succeeded on my own) Went through the no eating/sleeping stage, then the crying whenever I came home, then the 'it's getting better each day . . . '. My job opened up for applications and I applied - boss very happy I still want it. Moved things around to make this place 'mine'. Making a list of things I need that 'disappeared' and not worrying about the rest. Got my baby, El Cajone, back . . . and that brings us up to today.  Anyway - between his attitude of everything that went wrong with my computer was my fault cuz it could not be with the hardware or programs he installed, telling me who could not come over, thinking he was always right, etc. I know this is a good thing - and will be even better when the heart catches up with the brain.  It's been a trip - one with some hard lessons that will not soon be forgotten - but . . . I am woman - hear me roar!

Ugh, so sorry. It stinks to have to find out the hard way but like you said, it sounds like the best thing that could have happened to you. C-ya jerky. You're way better then that.

Sorry to hear how things have gone, but glad to hear you have your head on straight about it. You said it best...it really does take the heart a bit of time to catch up with the head.
