possum
Ok folks,
I was mowing my front lawn and noticed a streak run from one flower bed to another. I stopped the mower and investigated to find a baby possum not far removed from momma. I've delt with babies before and intend to keep it for a couple weeks and release it to a mitigation area. In the past, we have given them water, friut and vegis plus evaporated milk. They seem to do well. Any other suggestions? BTW, it hates me!

the possums around my house like to eat trash. *shrug* might work for you, too.

Believe it or not they like dog food too. A possum got hit by a car and I took the babies to my mother. They were very small. She fed them with a suringe? with baby milk. Then baby food and when they got big they ate dog food. Ren and stimpy is what I called them. They were some very fat possums.

Dip it in batter, deep fry for 5 - 7 min. or until golden brown. Serve with collard greens and a bowl of grits.
