Oh I am SO dying to get out in the woods, but bow season doesn't start until the 14th and it runs all through to December 31st. I just got my first bow Tuesday so I've been practicing with it like crazy.
So I'll be bow hunting up until gun season opens then I'll hunt with my rifle during Thanksgiving break.

Our season doesn't start till November 18 in Alabama. Same as fall turkey season. I am planning to head up to Deland Illinois this season for one of those corn fed monsters they have up there.

I have yet to get a huge trophy buck... *drool* right now I'm after a 6ft tall doe that is I swear like a small horse... up at a friend of mine's private property... saw the thing in person and it was jaw-dropping impressive how huge she was. Her hide would completely cover my twin-size bed. lol Probably.

I haven't taken anything note worthy. Alabama deer are known for not being that big. Pretty sad when you drop a 9 point that tips the scales at 145 pounds dressed out when 300 pounders are not a rare thing in Illinois.
Now that doe is huge compaired to anything around here.
