Ode to Steve
Steve Irwin wasn't only a great wildlife conservationist, but my hero. I'm devastated by the loss of such a great man. Many called him stupid for getting sometimes too close to wildlife, but those who followed his work know what a contribution he really made to wildlife everywhere, and, to humanity. Steve had a passion seldom witnessed nowadays in this world we live in. He and his wife Terri, children Sue and Bindi also had a passion as a family and I know they are devasted by his freakish and sudden departure. Steve made me want to be a better person, as I hope he did with all of us. His knowledge and soft nature was unrenowned- We have alll lost and great collegue, a great man and an exceptional human being. God rest, Steve. CRIKEY!
