Saskatchewan, Canada
I live in the provice of saskatchewan in canada, ive been looking at getting a python for a while i recently got a beautiful snow corn and i love him but i have always wanted a boa or python now i dun want anything huge and i know already what im gonna get however i ran into a bit of a snag...... a few of the locally run pet stores ive been to have told me that boas and pythons r illegal in saskatchewan yet others have told me they r legal to own with a peritt now i have been doing alot of research onto this issue but have not come up with any results as of yet does anyong live in saskatchewan? or does anyone know anything about it? i know its a long shot but i thought id jus ask. ill be kinda depressed if it turns out i cannot own either  thnx everyone

Well I would suggest going into the local police department (mounties) LOL sry..
and have a short chat with them. They will be able to provide you with better info than most people here can. You can also search the web, if you haven't tried that yet. Some states here will allow certain snakes but the within city limits its a different story. Check it out before you buy one!

The majority of the info that will benefit you the most will be talking to the local government around you. Each city can dictate what rules they want to lay down as far as animals go, so give that a try.
