Hello from the soon to be eye of the storm!!!
Just chillin here lookin out the patio door at all the rain and mess(drinkin some beers).....
Not too much yet, but in about 3 hours we are supposed to have 40-50 mph winds and lots more rain!! Yeah, just what we need here.
Anyway, I will keep you guys informed as long as the net is up, with updated pics as often as is interesting.

well, its too dark to get any good shots of the rain and trees now, but it is kickin up pretty good.... the reain is so heavy at times it is coming under the porch and pelting the sliding glass doors! Pretty cool.
But the heaviest is in about 3 hours from now...... I got my swim fins on!!!!LOL

We get good thunderstorms here with straight line winds hitting around 70mph all the time.. Its been awhile back, but I was getting out of my truck and trying to get my daughter in the house.. It had become very dark, and the wind picked up, and it was all I could do to hold my daughter down!!! It was very scary!
Ryan called me and said he was on his way home, and the storm had rolled through and knocked a tractor trailer rig off the road, and tore down trees just up the street from our house.
Im not a big fan of storms, I dont mind watching lightning, and during the day Im not as chicken, cause I can at least see what is coming. Night time storms, I dont sleep hardly at all. Guess it comes from having a paranoid mother who was cramming me in the closet under the stairs anytime it rained and thundered LOL

Hah, made it through.... Storm was kinda whimpy I guess, power didnt even go out. They were calling for much worse. The road to my studio did, however, flood. It put me back a day on work..... Oh well.
