DHL and how they rock... let me count the ways.
so... today we called DHL [on a sunday!] and talked to a real person [wow i know!] and we were on hold, and they did this amazing thing, where they would pick up, and thank us for holding, and then put us back on hold, instead of us just waiting for 15 minutes with nothing.
we called to ask what their policy on live animals were, since we were planning to ship on monday.
and we wanted to know, what was allowed, what wasnt, what their liability was etc.
she emailed me a text document, which is a "small animal waiver" that you sign and fax in.
they actually accept a liability if the animal dies in transit, of $100. the dont mentian snakes, but you could probably lable it as a non-venomous lizard. and she mentianed live rodents on the phone, which i found odd.
anyway, they rock, and have moved up a few points in my book, i thought i would share.
i pasted it into a text dobument and uploaded it, [i couldnt upload a .rtf ]
